They actually pay me to work here!

My incredible view every day at lunch, overlooking Scripps Networks
Interactive headquarters and the pond in front of the building, Knoxville Tenn.
OK, the Scripps office is REALLY cool.

Besides being one of the coolest-looking buildings I've ever seen, and not to mention its impressive LEED Green Building Certification, the workplace environment at Scripps is incredible.

They definitely have the aesthetically-pleasing building part down to an art (after all, this is HGTV's headquarters), but I'm really impressed with how the network treats its employees.

Surprisingly, working at Scripps feels more like working with a group of friends rather than a corporation that has more than 1000 employees. Even as just an intern, I have been able to experience the benefits of working for such an employee-focused company.

One of the benefits of having an internship at Scripps are the weekly programs and "webinars" that they host, which include phone conferences with various Scripps employees, a resume-building workshop, meeting with the president of Scripps and an intern social.
